Overview
LiveCue is a desktop interview copilot. You run a native app during live calls, upload prep documents, and get real-time suggestions grounded in your own notes. This policy explains what we collect when you use livecue.co, your account dashboard, and our managed-AI service.
We built LiveCue around a simple rule: your interview audio and prep files should stay on your machine unless you explicitly choose otherwise. We meter minutes for billing. We do not store interview transcripts on our servers by default.
What we collect
The data we handle depends on which parts of LiveCue you use.
- Account information: email address, name if you provide one, and authentication records when you sign up at livecue.co.
- Billing data: subscription or one-time purchase status, license tier, and payment references processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage metering: when you use LiveCue managed AI, we log minutes consumed, model used, token counts, and error reports to enforce quotas and keep the service running. These records are for billing and reliability, not for reading your interview content.
- Device activation: license key, a machine identifier, app version, and last validation time so your desktop app can activate and stay within seat limits.
- Support messages: anything you send to support@livecue.co.
Desktop app and local data
The LiveCue desktop app stores conversations, prep documents, wiki entries, context profiles, settings, and shortcuts locally on your computer, typically in a SQLite database and OS secure storage.
If you use bring-your-own-key mode, API calls go directly from your device to your chosen AI provider. We are not in the middle of those requests.
Speech recognition runs on-device when your hardware supports it (macOS Speech Analyzer, Windows Copilot+ speech). Optional cloud transcription sends audio to a speech provider only when you enable that path or when on-device speech is unavailable.
Prep documents indexed for local RAG stay on your machine. Job-Pack and higher tiers can optionally use cloud embeddings for prep search; that is tier-gated and documented in the product.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your interview transcripts to train models. We do not run advertising trackers on the marketing site or in the desktop app.
We do not archive full interview audio on our servers. Session history in the app is local unless a future opt-in review feature says otherwise in the product UI.
Third-party services
We use a small set of processors to operate LiveCue:
- Lemon Squeezy for checkout, subscriptions, and customer billing portal.
- Resend for transactional email (verification, password reset).
- AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, and others) when you use managed AI. Prompts and responses pass through our API for routing; we minimize retention of prompt content and do not use it for model training.
- Hosting and database providers for livecue.co and the API that serves licenses and usage.
Cookies and sessions
livecue.co uses session cookies to keep you signed in to your dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the marketing site.
You can sign out at any time from the dashboard. Clearing browser cookies will end your web session.
How long we keep data
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Usage metering rows are retained for billing disputes and quota enforcement, typically aligned with your billing period plus a reasonable backup window.
Support email is kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
You can request account deletion by emailing support@livecue.co. Local desktop data is yours to delete from the app or by removing the application data folder on your machine.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about your account.
Email support@livecue.co with your request. We will verify you control the account before making changes.
For billing changes, refunds on eligible plans, and invoice copies, you can also use the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked from your dashboard.
Children
LiveCue is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and adjust the date above when the policy changes materially. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
